Romeo Lane - Civil Lines

Another great restaurant from the owners of Mama's Boui, after all, every Romeo is once a Mama's Boy. The property is at a walking distance from the Civil Lines metro station gate no. 3. The place is on the 3rd floor with both the Indoor and the Outdoor sitting space which makes it a perfect party place for everyone.

I liked the outdoor rooftop sitting space with decent decor great lighting and all the good music to make your dining experience perfect. The staff is very hospitable and thoughtful when it comes to attending to the guests. But, the overall time is taken while serving is considerable.

They've a compact menu with a decent assorted dishes to choose from of shakes, mocktails, cocktails and food for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Now, coming to the most important part of any Resturant, Food and Beverages:

1. Beverages:
  • Belgian Oreo Shake: Chocolaty combination of Belgian chocolate and Oreo. I missed the thick texture but the chocolaty flavour repaid for that. (4/5)

  • Hazel 'n' Cookie Shake: Similarly, I missed the thick texture in the shake but the crumps of Hazelnut was mouthwatering. (4.5/5)

2. Food:

  • Tex Mex Cheesy Fries: Frest fries loaded with melted cheese on the top and Sour Creme and Salsa on the side. (4.5/5)

  • Cottage Cheese Quesadilla: Soft filling with the perfect texture that will melt in your mouth. (4.5/5)

  • Paneer Tikka and Tandoori Veggies Pizza: I'm not a very big fan of thin-crust pizza but this one is certainly a must-try with cheese and all the Tandoori (not so tandoori, but, still tasted wonderful ) Veggies and Paneer (soft and appetizing) Tikka. (4/5)

  • Penne - Alfredo Veg Pasta: Perfectly creme texture of the sauce but the Penne felt a bit dry. The sauce tasted better with broccoli then with the penne. (3/5)

3. Desert: 
  • Brownie Quesadilla: Soft Brownie covered in Choco Tortilla served with Vanilla Ice Cream. The choco tortilla's texture was bit soggy but the brownie was incredibly fresh. (3.5/5)
