Pocket Friendly Places for Delhi Students - Part 1

Delhi Students - Short of Money? No Problem.

We all go through the process of growing up where we have a lot of phases and one of the best phases is the Student phase where we meet the best people and create the best memories of our life. During our student life, we have all the time to spend, reasons to enjoy and friends with whom we can to enjoy. The only problem is the pocket money which is never sufficient for our small adventures.

As a student, we all go on dates (not the fancy ones), birthday parties and maybe just a party after exams are over. So here are some of my favourite food places where I used to go as a student to enjoy without hurting my budgets. 

1. Shri Ram Center: One of the most visited place as a student. Shri Ram Center of Performing Arts, Mandi House's Canteen. This place serves a decent menu and great Chinese food at highly affordable prices. The place has indoor and outdoor sitting areas which can give you options to choose from. The place serves one of the best Lassi, Veg Momos and Nimbu Pani.
The average cost for 2 is Rs 350 approximately.

2. Turant or Guru Ji: Want to try some good Street Food Van then this is the place for you. These two place serves the best Chinese Food at such low prices. The only problem is that they don't have a proper sitting space so you can either eat while standing or you can sit on the mats.
The average cost for 2 is Rs 350 approximately.

3. Hira Sweets: It is a pure vegetarian restaurant at CP that serves a great variety of dishes at reasonable prices. This family restaurant in the heart of Delhi, "CP", is where you can enjoy good food with your family. The place serves Indian and Chinese cuisine, everything with an Indian touch. So, next time when you are in CP and want some good food at a reasonable price, don't forget to visit Hira Sweets.

4. Lal Dhaba: This is an open street side Dhaba at a walking distance from ITO Metro station. A perfect place of winter lunches. They serve good vegetarian food but when it comes to non-vegetarian food they serve lip-smacking non-veg. The place will give you proper Dhaba feel and the prices will not hurt your pocket. The average cost for 2 people is Rs 300 approximately.
